Specialist Travel Insurance for active holidays is an essential item every one of our guests must carry. In fact it's a condition of your Holiday Booking with H2O that you have travel insurance cover for the duration of your holiday, and that it is adequate for your needs.
At H2O we do not sell Travel Insurance but we can provide contact details for a selection of insurance companies that do offer the kind of policy you might need to take out on prior to joining one of our holidays. We do not earn commissions on these and are unable to accept any liability for what they offer so its still your responsibility to check carefully that the travel insurance you buy is suitable for your specific insurance needs.
Please read the travel insurance policy wording carefully before buying. Ensure that the insurance provides an adequate, or higher, level of cover for your particular needs and for the type of activity you will be undertaking as part of your holiday. Then carry a copy of the Travel Insurance policy with you on holiday. You must give us written details (insurer’s name, policy number and emergency contact number) on your booking form at time of booking your holiday.
If travelling in the European Economic Area country (EEA) you should apply for the free European Health Insurance Card (EHIC). If you already have the card you should check your EHIC is still valid as there will be an expiry date. Carry the EHIC may be a requirement under your travel insurance. The EHIC does not cover search & rescue services. For more information and to apply online go to the NHS web site Here
